Do ClearV Treatments Hurt?

Because ClearV has built-in cooling, treatments involve little to no discomfort, even without numbing cream.

What Happens During a Laser Vein Treatment?

Our medical laser specialists perform laser vein removal as a simple office treatment. After cleansing the skin and placing protective covers over your eyes, they apply a conductive gel to the skin. The ClearV handpiece is placed on the skin, and a quick pulse of warm laser energy is released. The procedure can take as little as a few minutes or up to a half hour, depending on the areas being targeted.

How Long Does It Take To Heal After a Laser Vein Treatment?

Patients have virtually no downtime and may resume daily activities immediately following treatment. We do ask patients to not exercise for at least 48 hours after their treatment. It is safe to apply makeup to treated areas right away because the skin is not harmed by the treatment.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Certain small, shallow concerns may require a single treatment, while others will need approximately 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for optimal results.

While laser vein treatments produce near total clearing, patients must understand that the body naturally will produce new vessels or redness over time that can be treated to restore a clear and even complexion.
