Feeling confident and beautiful is something every woman deserves. When you’re considering breast augmentation, it’s not just about increasing size—it’s about enhancing your overall balance and achieving a look that’s uniquely you. In my practice, I take a personalized approach to ensure your vision comes to life just as you imagined.

How To Get the Natural Look You Want

The goal for many women is to have larger breasts that move naturally, look and feel like their natural breasts, and are in proportion to their shoulders, waist, and hips. That’s exactly what I aim for with every augmentation—results that complement your body’s natural structure and your personal aesthetic goals.

1. Choose the Right Surgeon

Your choice of surgeon is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. You want someone who brings a wealth of experience and skill, as well as a sensitive touch and an eye for detail. I’m here to guide you through every step, making sure you feel informed and comfortable with the choices we make together.

Our first chat is key. It’s where we talk about what you’re hoping to achieve with your augmentation. Whether you want fuller breasts, a more symmetrical look, or just restoring what time or life events have altered, understanding your goals helps me craft the perfect surgical plan.

2. Select the Best Implants

Choosing the right implants is about aligning your vision with the best options available:

  • Size: Whether you want a dramatic increase or a subtle enhancement, consider which implant size fits your body and lifestyle.
  • Shape and Profile: From lower profiles for a subtler rise to higher profiles for more pronounced curves, we’ll find the shape that best suits your frame.
  • Silicone or saline: Silicone implants often provide a more natural feel, which is why many women prefer them. They’re also available in a variety of firmness levels to match your desired look. Saline implants can be a great option for those looking for a cost-effective solution that can also achieve beautiful results.

We use top-quality, FDA-approved implants from trusted brands like Allergan® and Sientra®. Depending on your needs, you might choose from:

  • Silicone gel-filled implants for a smooth, natural feel.
  • Cohesive gel “gummy bear” implants for a firmer look that holds its shape.

3. Discuss Implant Placement

Where we place the implant can make a big difference:

  • Submuscular: Tucked under the muscle for a more natural contour and a lower chance of visible rippling.
  • Subglandular: Positioned directly under the breast tissue but above the muscle, this placement can be a good option for those who prefer a slightly fuller look and have sufficient natural breast tissue.

4. Consider a Breast Lift

A breast lift is sometimes necessary to achieve the best, most natural-looking result. If there’s sagging or excess skin, combining a lift with implants can create a more youthful and uplifted look. We’ll discuss whether this might be a good option for you, especially if you’ve experienced changes from pregnancy, breastfeeding, or significant weight loss.

5. Be Patient During Recovery

As you heal, you’ll notice your new breasts gradually settling into their new shape—a process often called “drop and fluff.”

In the early weeks after surgery, your implants will sit high on your chest, and the tissues around them may feel tight. This is completely normal. Over time, the muscles and skin will relax and stretch slightly, allowing the implants to “drop” into a more natural position. Meanwhile, the “fluff” part comes into play as the breast tissue adjusts, taking on a softer, more natural appearance.

It’s important to follow postoperative instructions, which will guide you on activity levels, wearing a support bra, and managing discomfort. Regular follow-up visits will allow us to monitor your progress and ensure everything is moving along smoothly.

Patience is important during recovery. While it’s exciting to see the immediate changes, the true results will reveal themselves as your body adapts and heals in the months following surgery.
